     Mississippi Burning  is one of the several and great crime movies about “Civil Rights Movement”, a movement that was aimed at to finish racism and segregation in the United States. The director, Alan Parker reflects his own ideas about anti-racism in the movie. We can understand this situation from a child who is an African-American and talks about his anti-racist senses with an FBI agent and says his name as “Alan”. This movie influenced me deeply because it actually portrays the past reality between black people and white people, especially whites’ cruelty against blacks.                As a general introduction, Mississippi Burning is produced in 1988, directed by Alan Parker and written by Chris Gerolmo. It tells a story based on the FBI’s investigation into the murders of three civil rights workers in the state of Mississippi in 1964. The FBI sends two agents who are Rupert Anderson (Mississippi Sheriff) and Alan Ward.  They both want to contact with inhabitan

13 Mart 2019 tarihinde akşam saatlerinde başlayan sosyal medya erişim kısıtlaması bir çok kullanıcıyı meraklandırdı. Whatsapp, Facebook ve İnstagramda yaşanan bu sıkıntı tam anlamıyla bir açıklığa kavuşmadı. İnstagramda kullanıcılar sayfalarını yenileyememekte ve bakılan hikayeler bakılmamış gibi kullanıcıya tekrar sunulmakta. Whatsappda gönderilmeye çalışıp gönderilemeyen fotoğraf ve videolar insanları çileden çıkardı. Facebookda durum biraz daha iyi sadece gönderi yüklemesi yapılamamakta. Birtakım söylentiye göre bu sıkıntı bazı ülkelerde de yaşanmakta ama başka bir söylentiye göre sadece 3 büyükşehir Ankara İzmir ve İstanbul’da kullanıcıların sıkıntı yaşadığı yönünde. Bu durum sosyal medya kullanıcıların iyice meraklandırdı. Yetkili kişilerden açıklama hala yapılmadı.

DAISY MILLER (1974) Daisy Miller , a novella, written by Henry James, adapted into a movie by Peter Bogdanovich in 1974. In the adaptation, Daisy seems at first to be the protagonist may be because of the name of the film version, but she is not, Winterbourne is. We, as the audience, see the events or story from Winterbourne’s point of view and Daisy as an American is a victim in foreign countries because she has an independent character when it comes to deciding an affair whether it is shame or not in that place and time. She does everything freely; therefore, this situation comes weird or unusual in Europe and to the European people.  Winterbourne does not understand if she is a coquette or innocent in the film until the end because he lived in Europe too long; eventually, we understand he lost his cultural values and people of his culture.
